Lucky

There's a song that's been going through my head a lot lately. I listened to it in the car the other day, and it's been singing in my head ever since.

"Lucky I'm in love with my best friend.
Lucky to have been where I have been.
Lucky to be coming home again..."

That's a photo of me and my sweetheart taken on the coast of California in the spring of 2007. We were on vacation, and my good friend Janet snapped this shot.

It's probably my very favorite photo of us.

He does make it easier when life gets hard, and I do feel so very lucky that he and I still make it work.
