These birds were hanging around in the yard of the hospital one day when I was visiting my nephew, and they were...well...pretty substantial.
I had no idea what they were, until I was creating this page at a crop, and my friend Mary told me they're sandhill cranes.
I didn't have any embellishments that were even remotely related to cranes, so I went with a simple color palette, a substantial title size, a couple puffy stickers, and a few enamel dots.
